About Ahura Acta.
Ahura Acta licenses Attesta, for lawyers, and Minuta, for businesses. Both are made by, and licensed from, Ahura Tech Consulting, an engineering firm in Oakville, Ontario.
How it works.
The recording stays with you
The recording is transcribed on your own computer, where it already is. With a good computer, especially one with a good graphics card (GPU), everything can run on your own machine, so nothing needs to leave your office. It goes nowhere unless you choose to send it.
Planned: a secure server in Canada
We are planning an optional service hosted in Canada. If you choose it, the recording will be sent securely to a Canadian server, processed in memory only and never saved to a disk, and the transcript will come back to your own app. It is not available yet.
Clear about limits
Courts accept only an official transcript, made by an authorized court transcriptionist. Attesta is for everything before that: preparing a cross-examination, a meeting with your client or the next appearance. You can check a doubtful word against the recording and correct it, and Attesta keeps a record of every correction. Minuta sends only the transcript text, never the audio, to the AI provider you choose, and shows where the engine was unsure, often on uncommon names and terms, so you know what to check.
We are here to help
Attesta and Minuta are built by Ahura Tech Consulting, and we work with its engineers directly. When you need help, or something adjusted to the way your office works, call or write, and a person who knows the software answers.
Acta is the record. Attesta bears witness to it. Minuta is the first draft of it.
- Acta
- Latin for "official proceedings," "records," or "things that have been done."
- Attesta
- One who witnesses, confirms, or bears witness to what was said.
- Minuta
- A draft, minutes, or a detailed note.
